It was the former headquarters of Siemens- Bosch, which had been empty for several months. It had a good 1,000m² of warehouse space and three floors of offices. A building that offered a wide range of possibilities, and we fell in love with it right away. We made our minds up fast, as we always do: we immediately signed a lease and in 2021 we even decided to buy the building and move our headquarters there. So Brusol is coming home, to the heart of Brussels. An official inauguration will follow later in 2021 (expect celebrations when the coronavirus is over and done with, and also expect new ideas ranging from a charging station community to extra offers for our customers). Stay tuned! It was so great to see our customers again in the summer between the first and second lockdown! We toured the Brussels Capital Region all summer long, observing all the coronavirus measures in force at the time, with our brand new Brusol food truck. It was such fun, and we enjoyed friendly conversations with our customers and people who were interested. On 11 sunny Saturdays, we parked our food truck at 22 different locations in 14 different municipalities of Brussels. We promised to install free solar panels in the neighbourhood, but above all we served free food and drinks to anyone who passed by. Meatballs in Liège sauce, for example, but we always offered vegetarian and halal options as well. A lot of customers came to visit, as well as a government minister and a local alderman, but above all: lots and lots of great people. Our final stop of the summer, on 16 September, was in the middle of the Gare Maritime. King Philippe visited and found out how the customer really is king at Brusol. :) Extended due to great success: in 2021 the Brusol food truck will be touring in both a winter and a summer version.
