How is this possible? Well, our offices were located in the famous MSD buildings in Binhai, Tianjin for a very long time. But since 2014, they were building the eighth tallest building in the world next door. Now that it is complete, we are one of the first companies to move in as tenants. The meeting rooms and restaurant are almost a hundred floors above ground. But there is no point going up there for a great view: there is too much smog for that. Our office is on the 24th floor which is one of the highest floors where you do still have a view that isn’t really obstructed by smog or pollution. Locals call the tower the “Tianjin CTF Finance Centre”. Or in full: “Tianjin Chow Tai Fook Binhai Center”. We just call it the “EnergyVision Tower”, especially now that the owner has hung up a metres-high flexible LED screen about our company at the entrance. You’re always welcome!
