Launch of the employee counsil EnergyVision

24.01.2024

Just before the collective leave, as many as 88 colleagues cast their votes for the employee council. After counting the votes, the elected candidates were announced. In the meantime, work was done on the further development of the council: on January 29 they will meet for the first time to further outline the functioning and discuss the first agenda items. The first meeting with management will then take place on February 08.

To determine the agenda items for this council, the representatives need your input. You can provide this to the employee council in a variety of ways:

  • Addressing participants: the following are your points of contact
    • Gent: Lynn, Isabelle, Peter & Nick
    • Brussel: Arsène, Kevin Grimont, Thanh & Nathan
  • Digital tool (anonymous)

The purpose of the employee council is to convey internal concerns and comments to management in a structured manner and to search for solutions together in a constructive manner. The content of this is not predetermined, but it is a call to discuss only well-founded concerns at the organizational level. Consider issues related to, for example, work organization (the organizational structure, work procedures, general policies), job content (nature of tasks, complexity of work), working terms (time arrangements, career management, training opportunities), working conditions (physical environment in which work is performed), or labor relations (interpersonal relations at work, both internal and with third parties, quality of relations).

The employee council will mainly focus on collective issues. As always, concerns or problems of an individual nature can be discussed with your supervisor, the confidential advisor or HR colleagues.

Do you have a concern you would like to share with the council? Then always try to paint a clear picture of this in order to raise it in a constructive way. Think carefully beforehand about how you want to raise these issues so that the members of the employee council can work on them in a well-organized way.

After each meeting with management, the employee council will publish a report of the meeting (via the intranet). Thus, the entire organization will be kept informed of the progress of this new story.

We wish the participants of this council the best of luck with this new story.
